Infinity Industrial Services Inc. is a certified Indigenous and Woman-Owned company that provides multi-trade contracting services to the clean energy sector across Ontario. We are growing rapidly and looking to add a full or part time Master Electrician/Electrical Supervisor to our team.

 

Position Overview

 

·        The Electrical Supervisor shall be responsible to oversee and coordinate the performance management of trade crew foremen, members and their apprentices.

·        Electrical Supervisor will be responsible to support and assist trade specific Performance Management by demonstrating a positive and professional demeanour while conducting business on behalf of Infinity Generation Services Inc.

·        Must be Licensed Master Electrician (or be willing to obtain Masters License within 6 weeks of hire)

Duties and Responsibilities

·        Enforce all company Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

·        Ensure foreman have been provided with all documentation and qualification knowledge required to perform work scope activities in accordance with all company Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

·        Compile training notifications directed by Infinity Generation Services Inc. training department and provide list to acting Foremen to notify individual crew members.

·        Provide input on Employee Improvement Action Reports (EIAR) as required and document missed training with Infinity Generation Services Inc.

·        Verify all completed timesheets and job clock exception reports.

·        Submit compiled daily attendance.

·        Conduct and submit Observation & Coaching cards and Site Inspections on a weekly basis in accordance with company policy and OHSA.

·        Attend Construction Planning meetings as requested by clients and assist with construction strategies and estimates.

·        Build, review and/or procure work packages as required to ensure scope readiness.

·        Prepare Safe Work Plans based on reviews and walk-downs of work scope tasks and submit to Safety Representatives and Line Management for field execution approval.

·        Prioritize trade specific work scope tasks as required to meet client expectations.

·        Provide oversight of Foreman responsibilities via field presence.   Ensure work scope task execution meets client expectations.

·        Complete submissions of required notifications project status updates, Station Condition Reports(SCR) and Infinity Generation Services Inc. Event Reporting (ERS/ATS).

·        Complete and submit employee Termination/Transfer forms and Help Requisitions.

·        Additional duties as assigned.

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

·        Several years of experience as a qualified tradesperson in a relevant trade are required.

·        Proof of Trade Certification

o   309A license and Master Electrician license (or ability to acquire Masters License within 6 weeks of hire).

·        Electrical Supervisor shall complete BN or OPG’s Nuclear Construction Safety Academy within thirty (30) days of hire-on

·        Must be able to get Nuclear security clearance

·        Candidates with in-depth knowledge and engagement experience with Indigenous communities are strongly preferred

 

Working Conditions

 

·        Employee may be required to work extended hours, late evenings, weekend and holidays.

·        Full or part time

·        Job will be based out of Darlington and other project sites as assigned. Some travel may be required.

 

Physical Requirements

 

·        May be required to walk for long distances.

·        May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.

 

Salary

 

·        $60-$70/hr based on skills and experience

·        Vacation and stat holiday pay
