Dinowigehmin – Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program (AYLP)

Anishinabek Employment and Training Services in co-operation with Leadership Thunder Bay, are pleased to announce the next delivery collaboration of the Aboriginal Youth focused community leadership program.  The Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program (AYLP) will be implemented based on the Leadership Thunder Bay model within the framework of The Seven Grandfather Teachings, The Medicine Wheel as well as the The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.  The program is designed to contribute to participant’s cultural, spiritual, mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.        


 Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program Upcoming Delivery Dates:

  • Fall 2018:
    • Retreat:  Friday October 12, 2018 - 2pm to 8pm & Saturday October 13, 2018 - 8am to 3 pm
    • Learning Days:  Monday October 15, 22, 29, 2018 - 4pm to 8pm
    • Learning Days:  Monday November 5, 12, 19, 26, 2018 - 4pm to 8pm
    • Learning Days:  Monday December 3, 2018 - 4pm to 8pm
    • Graduation:  Monday December 10, 2018 - 4pm to 8pm
