Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation is presently recruiting for a

HUB COORDINATOR

(External Posting, Term Contract – Ending March 31, 2027)

Thunder Bay, ON

The HUB Coordinator position focuses on the facilitation, upkeep, and training of HUB equipment and programming within the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation communities. In order to meet the obligations, set forth from Springboard and its funders, this individual will focus on implementing HUB training for all workers within Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation under the direction of the Community Prevention and Intervention Manager.

Qualifications:
• Preferred diploma or degree in Indigenous Studies, Social Work/Social Services Work, Child and Youth Care, Administration, Advocacy, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, cultural knowledge, and experience.
• Experience working with NAN and in First Nation Communities
• Excellent case and file management skills, administrative and coordination skills, stress management and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Adaptability and Self-motivation
• Excellent Teamwork and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Ability to train team members to deliver HUB programming.
• Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Software, internet, and general office equipment.
• Ability to speak Cree, Oji-Cree, or Ojibway an asset.
• must be willing and able to travel if necessary

Location: Thunder Bay, ON
Hours: Full Time – Contract (35 Hours Per Week)
Starting Salary: $54,113 Annually
