Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will serve as an administrative support to the Assistant Directors and Managers of both Clinical & Children Services and Health & Wellness. Under the direction of the Assistant Directors, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of complex and responsible duties. The Administrative Assistant will also perform other duties related to the assigned areas of responsibility.

- Serving as a confidential assistant to the Assistant Directors and Managers; composing correspondence, reports and recommendations;
- Arranging appointments, reviewing and sorting incoming mail and generally responding to routine matters not requiring the Assistant Directors’ attention;
- Overseeing the maintenance of confidential files for the Assistant Directors, Managers and all relevant parties associated with the organization
- Reflecting and interpreting the Agency Vision, Mission and Core Values in his/her own work with enthusiasm and commitment;
- Acting in accordance with relevant legislation and Agency Policies, Standards and Procedures;
- Proposing changes within Dilico that would improve the quality of service to Anishinabek children, families and communities.
- Developing and maintaining respectful, cooperative working relationships to contribute to the integrated, seamless delivery of services to Anishinabek children, families and communities.
- A Business Administration Diploma from a recognized community college is required.
- Minimum five year’s experience at the senior administrative level is preferred.
- Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s Licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
- Must complete a criminal records check, vulnerable sector.
- Must be able to travel to Northern Superior communities from time to time.
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
