The Mobile Crisis Response Worker is primarily responsible to act as a first response intervention for mental health and/or addictions related crisis where the individual requests or is deemed in need of mental health/addictions crisis response intervention. The worker will assist in deescalating the acuity of the crisis, support the individual to stabilize, and link the individual to local mental health and addictions services as required. Secondary to that, where necessary, the worker will provide follow-up brief intervention support to service recipients.

Intensive Treatment Services–School-Based is a partnership with Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board (TBCDSB). The program provides culturally relevant Children’s Mental Health services and supports for Anishinabek students who are experiencing difficulty functioning in their home school environment due to cross-cultural, social, emotional and/or trauma related needs. The goal of the program is to increase students’ strengths and decrease areas of need through a culturally informed approach. Students receive academic instruction with a focus on language and math while in the program. The program aims to provide students with individualized goals to support stabilization and successful reintegration back to their home school. An emphasis will be placed on transference of skills learned. The program also offers supports to students’ families concurrently to reduce risk factors and increase protective factors for both the school and home environment.
The Residential Support Worker will monitor clients at regular intervals and provide care and support to clients; nights, weekends and during special outings/events. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to the residents at the Family Healing Wellness Centre.

Under the direction of the Support Services Manager, the Scheduler is responsible for phoning replacement casual staff to ensure adequate staffing in the agency operated staffed homes. The Scheduler is also responsible for phoning casual staff to schedule job duties of transporting, one to one support, and access visits as required by the Intake, Family Service, Child Service and Alternative Care units. The Scheduler shall work within the policies and procedures of Dilico, and within the legal framework of the Child and Family Services Act. The Scheduler must be able to work effectively and efficiently with other child welfare staff to ensure that the support services for children and their families are scheduled, coordinated, integrated and communicated with all parties involved.
Under the direction of the Manager of Counselling & Clinical Services, the Clinical Counsellor will provide therapy using a variety of modalities within Clinical Services. The clinician must have substantial experience providing clinical assessments and subsequent psychotherapy. Duties include but are not limited to administering and analyzing screening and assessment tools; performing assessments and intensive therapy for individuals, families and groups; crisis intervention; research; and program consultations. The Family Wellness Worker will provide guidance and support to families in order to promote safety, success and well-being for families. The Family Wellness Worker is responsible to work with families that require additional support and guidance in order to maintain family unity or reunification in a manner that respects and incorporates the concept of family centered, culturally appropriate, and community-based care.
