Positions Available: 1 – 1-year Contract Position

Position Overview:

 

The Indigenous Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources department in delivering a variety of Human Resource services and tasks including recruitment, retention, new employee orientation, benefits administration, payroll, data entry, collective agreement and policies compliance as well as additional administrative functions.

  • A An individual who is of Anishinaabe ancestry from the Robinson Superior Treaty area with an understanding of Anishinaabe history, culture, traditions, ceremonies and values are preferred. Must be a Highschool graduate.
  • Experience in business administration.
  • Experience with a Human Resources Information System preferably HRMS (Sage Software).
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as determined by the immediate Manager of Human Resources in relation to service requirements.  
  • Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License and have access to a personal vehicle.
  • Must complete a criminal records check satisfactory to Dilico.
