The N’Swakamok Indigenous Friendship Centre (NIFC) is currently accepting resumes for the position of Youth Employment Coordinator – Contract (35hrs/week)
Job Purpose:
To provide dedicated resources for urban Indigenous youth in Sudbury, to improve their lives through culturally relevant services that are readily available and which are delivered through a focused, demand-driven program model.

• Relevant College/University level accreditation or a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated related work experience with youth
• Knowledge of Indigenous language and culture an asset
• Knowledge and experience in the area of employment and training initiatives
• Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with youth-serving agencies
• Familiar with Apatisiwin’ s Programme criteria and guidelines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent computer and group facilitation skills
• Experience completing quarterly statistics and narrative reporting in a database
• Must have valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
• A clear Criminal Reference Check (CPIC) which includes screening for venerable position will be a condition of the employment offer
• CPR and First Aid Certification an asset
