? Provide summary legal advice over the telephone and in person to vulnerable, low-income individuals and communities

? Work with other legal clinics and community partners delivering the project in Ontario

? Participate meaningfully in the SHIW Community of Practice

? Prepare and submit reports to the funders, project partners, and the Employer, as required

? Legal training and/or relevant experience in employment law

? Ability to work with people in crisis and from diverse backgrounds in a trauma-informed manner

? Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills

? University degree or equivalent education or experience

? Understanding of community-based legal services

? Ability to handle a high volume of legal advice inquiries

This position provides service to clients throughout Northern Ontario, in conjunction with agreements with other legal clinics.
