Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Thunder Bay, the Mental Health and Addictions
Support Worker will provide comprehensive counselling services to youth, focusing on mental health
diagnoses, substance use, and addiction challenges. This role involves conducting needs and risk
assessments, crisis management, and trauma-informed care. The counsellor will also coordinate
educational workshops and maintain strict confidentiality.
